I am an Utrecht-based graphic designer that wants to make the world more beautiful, aesthetically as well as socially. I'm a Graphic Design Bachelor (ArtEZ, 2014) and specialised in Social Design (No Academy, 2016). I work from my studio, or on site.
As I am always approaching my freelance and self-initiated projects from a social, feminist viewpoint, I love to conspire with my clients about creative ways in which the project can help improve the world. Next to that, colour is a very important tool for me. As a synesthete (having a connection between colour and language in the brain) I always have intuitive ideas about which colours suit your project best, and the result will never be boring.
My work is said to be 'impressive and qualitative' (Dutch Design Awards 2014), 'fantastical & very sharp at the same time' (Andrea Gulickx), 'deviant' (Ecodrukkers), 'funny and inventive' (ArtEZ teachers – some of them) & 'worth sharing' (my dad).
I take all kinds of freelance assignments and am specialised in social design, conceptual print design, information design, and sketchnoting. Next to these paid jobs, I often work on self-initiated and volunteer projects when I believe the world really needs them.
